CBS2 teams up with Les Schwab to collect food for Idaho Food Bank

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — There are a lot of empty boxes at Les Schwab Tire Centers, and CBS2 wants your help filling them up.
CBS2, Newstalk KBOI and TDS Fiber have teamed up with Les Schwab to help collect food for the Idaho Foodbank.
All Les Schwab Tire Center locations have boxes available for donations. You can donate between now and Dec. 9.
The foodbank needs:
- Fruits and vegetables
- Proteins, like canned meats and fish
- Soups and stews
- Peanut and other nut butters
- Whole grain pasta, regular or brown rice and whole grain cereals
- Non-fat and low-fat milk
- Cooking oils
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder and baking soda
- Dried herbs, spices and sugar.
