Purab Kohli and his family recover from Covid-19

He confirmed that his daughter showed mild symptoms of Covid-19 first, which was a cough and cold,  for two days. Then his wife got infected and had chest congestion. Purab was the third in his family to get a 'horrid, solid cold for one day' which vanished, and then an irritating cough set in for three days. His son got it last. Osian had a 104 degree fever for three nights, a runny nose and slight cough, while the other three had mild 100-101 degree temperature and fatigue. Purab, mentioned in his post, "Osian's fever disappeared only on his fifth day."

 Purab also explained that the coronavirus infection is just like a regular flu, but with a stronger cough and a feeling of breathlessness. "Apparently everyone in London is getting it and it's rampant here, and a few people we know have gotten it too," he shared.

Last Wednesday, the Kohli family came out of self-quarantine, and are not contagious any longer. Sharing tips to make this ordeal easier for others, Kohli suggested some home remedies they tried, to manage the impact of the infection. He shared in his post, "We were doing four to five steams and salt water gargles a day. Ginger-turmeric-honey mixture to sooth the throat really helped. Warm water bottles on the chest really helped relax the chest. Hot baths helped get rid of the flu-like feeling." 

He also advised a lot of rest too, since even after two weeks, they can still feel the impact of the virus.

Purab also hoped that no one goes through this ordeal. He also assured that our body is strong enough to fight it,  if we do. Purab concluded his post by saying, "Seek proper advice from your doctors as intensity of each case is different as was in my household alone. Please stay home and rest the body as much as possible."
