September brings discounts as the “Mahalo Month” at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua for kamaaina throughout the state. From football celebrations to special savings throughout the resort, the Ritz is the place to be this month.

Today and next Sunday you may cheer for your favorite team at Alaloa Lounge while enjoying the special football menu and full bar beginning at 7 a.m.

With 80-inch televisions, air conditioning and ocean views, Alaloa is an ideal hangout with a menu of football fried rice, corned beer hash (yes, you read it right) loco moco and the Hail Mary cocktail. Kamaaina may enjoy a 20 percent savings on food. Just bring along your valid Hawaii ID.

At the Terrace Restaurant, get 25 percent off breakfast and enjoy views overlooking the pools and ocean. Hours are 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. weekdays and until 11 a.m. Saturday and Sundays.

Treat yourself to a massage, facial or salon service at the spa with special pricing on select treatments Monday through Friday between noon and 3 p.m. now through Sept. 29. This deal cannot be combined with other offers.

At The Banyan Tree, the Ritz’s signature restaurant, you may also get 20 percent off nightly if you are a kamaaina through the month for dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
